MBP provided commissioning services to systematically optimize the building and ancillary systems to operate efficiently and effectively. Fundamental systems were calibrated and operating as required to deliver functional and efficient performance. The Duke Raleigh Hospital involved the construction of a new 181,000-square-foot, five-story bed tower addition, along with 40,000 square feet of renovations in the existing hospital facility. A new 13,000-square-foot central utility plant designed to serve the new addition as well as cross-connect with the existing central utility plant was also constructed.
