MBP received a 2019 Cigna Well-Being Award last week at the 2019 Cigna Mid-Atlantic Summit. This honor recognizes companies for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and wellness of its culture through workplace wellness programs. MBP was presented with an honorable mention award for Honorable Culture of Well-Being.
“MBP’s Wellness Committee works diligently to find interesting topics for monthly wellness tips, creative ideas for quarterly wellness challenges and in-house presentations, as well as identifying incentives that help to increase involvement in creating healthier lifestyles of not only our team members, but their family’s as well,” said Krista Manwaren, Director of Learning and Development.
Applicants are evaluated on five key area components of their wellness programs, including leadership, foundations, program implementation, tools, and health promotion participation data. All applications are reviewed and judged by an internal, multi-departmental review committee from Cigna.
