Q&A

1. What got you into your current career path?

Sometimes I think I may have been born into construction. My grandfather was a general contractor and there are pictures of me as two-year-old sitting in my father’s lap on a bulldozer. In reality, I had a summer job during college working for a developer on Long Island and I just stuck with that after graduation.

2. What is something interesting about yourself that nobody would know?

I really like outdoor winter sports. Skiing, skating on frozen ponds – there is something magical about being out in nature in those conditions and being able to enjoy it.

3. Best work-related advice you’ve ever gotten?

Don’t positively reinforce negative behavior.

4. What’s your favorite thing about your job?

Especially when working on-site, every day is different. You never really know what challenges may arise from day to day. You need to be able maintain focus and be a problem solver.
