MBP provided construction management services including materials testing and inspection, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, and drone photography for the Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park. To honor the Hanson family name, Loudoun County set forth to design and construct a park that included something for everyone and for all ages that would attract residents from all over the region to come and enjoy all the park has to offer. This is the largest park delivered by Loudoun County; an elite park that will be enjoyed by generations to come. Here’s what you’ll see: 17 athletic fields including a championship plaza, four tennis/pickleball courts, basketball courts, two preeminent playgrounds with rubberized surfaces, splashpad, skate plaza, five ponds, fishing piers, picnic pavilions, amphitheater, off-leash areas, disc golf course, concession/restroom buildings, paved trails, and over 75 acres of passive recreational space and infrastructure.
