MBP is pleased to announce Duke Health has selected the firm to provide commissioning authority services for the Duke Raleigh Hospital New Addition project.
MBP’s commissioning team will provide enhanced commissioning services during the pre-design, design, construction, and occupancy and operations phases.
The Duke Raleigh Hospital New Addition project involves the construction of a new 181,000-square-foot, five-story bed tower addition, along with approximately 40,000 square feet of renovation work in the existing hospital facility. A new 13,000-square-foot central utility plant designed to serve the new addition, as well as cross-connect with the existing central utility plant is also included. The total project cost is currently estimated to be $189.5 million.
