MBP is pleased to announce that Loudoun County has awarded two contracts to MBP.
The first contract is for Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the Route 7 and Route 659 Interchange, a three-year project in Loudoun County, Virginia with a construction value estimated over $50 million. The project will create a grade separated interchange with the installation of a single point urban interchange (SPUI) bridge over the highly traveled Route 7 corridor. Services to be provided include on-site quality assurance and control, administrative services, materials testing, construction engineering and inspection. The project is both federally funded and a Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) locally administered project.
The second award is a task order for construction support services related to garages and access to stations associated with the Silver Line Phase 2 project, an 11-mile Metrorail extension which, when completed, will provide quick access through the Dulles Corridor to Washington Dulles International Airport, Reston, Tysons Corner, and downtown Washington, D.C. Specific services include master program schedule development and maintenance for the project for a two-year period.
