MBP is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Payne, PE, CCM to Executive Vice President.
Payne has been with MBP since 1993, most recently serving as Senior Vice President/Regional Manager overseeing operations in Virginia to include the firm’s Fairfax, Roanoke, Lynchburg and Bristol offices. He has more than 26 years of experience in construction management and design, with a wide variety of experience to include construction field management, inspection, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, construction disputes resolution and analysis. Payne has been managing a variety of building and transportation programs, providing direct client coordination, and quality assurance for a team of more than 80 construction professionals. In his new role, Payne will be supporting technical and administrative operations for the firm companywide.

Payne has a masters and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Construction Management Association of America, and is also active with the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Highway Engineers, and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering.
