MBP received a 2018 Cigna Well-Being Award last week at the 2018 Cigna Summit. This honor recognizes companies for demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the health and wellness of its culture through workplace wellness programs. MBP was presented with an honorable mention award for Honorable Culture of Well-Being.
“MBP does a really great job encouraging company-wide wellness initiatives through our benefits, Woohoo Wellness competitions, monthly tips, and incentives,” said Kara Kakol, Human Resources Generalist. “We have a dedicated wellness committee as well as a supportive leadership team that helps us in achieving a culture of well-being. Our Woohoo Wellness program would not be as successful without them!”
Applicants are evaluated on five key area components of their wellness programs, including leadership, foundations, program implementation, tools, and health promotion participation data. All applications are reviewed and judged by an internal, multi-departmental review committee from Cigna.
