MBP is pleased to announce the appointment of three new shareholders.
Since joining MBP in 2009, Jason MacDonald, CCM, has managed some of MBP’s most complex projects including K-12, higher education, museum, laboratory, federal, and transportation markets. As a senior project manager, he is experienced in providing construction and program management, inspection, technical review, estimating, and delay analysis services. Jason is currently managing one of MBP’s largest programs for Chesterfield County Public Schools which involves a $300 million program encompassing eight elementary schools and two middle schools. He holds a BS in Building Construction from Virginia Tech.
Desmond Michael, CCM, PSP, is a senior project manager with over 18 years of experience delivering various building and highway construction projects. He has worked extensively with some of MBP’s largest private and public clients, such as Naval Facilities Engineering Command, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Maryland State Highway Administration, Maryland Department of General Services, and the Virginia Department of Transportation. He specializes in project closeout, constructibility reviews, critical path method scheduling, inspections, cost estimating, dispute resolution, and construction permits. Desmond holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Carlos Sanchez, LEED AP BD+C, has more than 24 years of design and construction experience. As a Master Builder with 13 years of design experience, Carlos offers a comprehensive understanding of the built environment and has been responsible for the management of several award-winning projects. His expertise encompasses a wide range of projects to include healthcare, higher education, K-12 schools, museums, cultural sites, institutional, and commercial construction. Carlos currently serves as MBP’s National Buildings Solutions Leader and is responsible for working with both new and existing clients to maximize the value we bring to our projects. Carlos has a BA in Architecture from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
