MBP provided project and construction management support to the owner’s staff responsible for the repairs and alterations of the town’s skating rink building. The project involved the timber structure, originally constructed in 1903, that was purchased by the Town of Purcellville and was in the process of planning repairs and alterations until the structural soundness condemned the building. Upon identification of structural integrity issues, the Town immediately directed MBP to oversee the process of repairing the structure with the intent of resuming use of the facility as soon as possible. The Bush Tabernacle was added to the Virginia Landmarks Register on March 18, 2010 and to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 2010.
“The MBP staff successfully completed construction and engineering services for the Purcellville Bush Tabernacle Project. This was a difficult project with a constricted site and a demanding time frame. MBP always performed exemplary services and went above and beyond their typical duties to complete the various phases of this project.”
