MBP was retained by the City of Durham to provide commissioning services and assist in resolving comfort, sequence of operation issues, and to help reduce the energy usage at the Durham Performing Arts Center. The project featured a 2,800-seat Broadway style theatre in a 114,000-square-foot facility. It is the largest performing arts center in the Carolinas and holds theatrical productions, concerts, family shows, and other events.
