MBP provided litigation support leading to two negotiated settlements for the New York Law School’s new community facility. This glass enclosed, 235,000-square-foot, nine-story structure doubles the size of the law school’s campus, and includes classrooms, an auditorium, conference and study rooms, libraries, lounges, a dining facility, administrative, and event and operations space for the New York Law School community. Unique aspects of the construction included a 100-foot slurry wall, four below-ground levels utilizing a “top down” construction method, and a very tight urban site.
