MBP provided LEED fundamental commissioning services for the construction and acceptance phases of a new three-story building addition with a gross floor area of approximately 44,000 square feet for the Franklin Institute. The addition connects to the existing museum and includes a basement level mechanical room and mechanical/electrical mezzanine area for the third floor exhibition space. Areas within the addition include meeting and storage spaces, mechanical and electrical rooms, a display atrium, and exhibit and common areas. This project achieved LEED Silver certification.
