Under an indefinite delivery construction management services contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, MBP provided schedule and delay analysis services for the North Alabama Area Office. The project included the design and construction of a 839,873-square-foot, six-story reinforced concrete and structural steel building on concrete footings, with pre-cast wall panels and built-up roofs, including administrative space, sensitive compartmentalized information facilities, computer operations, meeting rooms, and training areas. The project also consisted of a cafeteria, physical fitness center, a central mechanical plant including standby generators for mission critical loads, a 2,120-space parking lot, sidewalks, street lighting, landscaping, and site improvements.
