Al Hawkins, PE, CCP

Al Hawkins has 10 years of engineering experience, which includes MEP system design, project management, and energy conservation measures, as well as existing building commissioning, new building commissioning, and monitoring-based commissioning for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and integrated electronic security systems. He has supported and led over 70 new construction and renovation projects from the early design phase through the warranty period for public and private owners. Projects include central plants, laboratories, hospitals, offices, K-12, higher education, and military facilities. As a senior engineer, Al is responsible for ensuring projects stay on schedule, resolving design and installation conflicts, confirming the commissioned systems are installed and operating as intended, and mentoring junior team members.
