Matt served in the Navy’s Civil Engineer Corps for 25 years, enjoying a myriad of opportunities to help the Department of the Navy and host countries build and maintain their infrastructure to support multiple missions. He enjoyed opportunities in Mississippi, DC, California, Virginia, and Colorado stateside as well as Guam, Palau, Spain, Djibouti, and Kuwait overseas to spread goodwill and experience great opportunities along the way.

Prepare, prepare, prepare…start networking yesterday, get everything in order to ensure a smooth transition. Look at your personal situation (your past and desired future) to ensure you move forward smartly. Knowing now that it’s not simply a two-to-three-year tour, but possibly a career.
